With over 10 years experience in creating spectacular works of art, Shiree Hobson is one of those jewellers who has a precise and effortless style that can only be attributed to a dedication to her craft and a huge amount of natural talent!

Shiree was first drawn to the world of textiles, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts (Textile and Jewellery). It was when she was working for an Opal company that she realised how comfortable she was in a workshop environment and discovered her love for handcrafting jewellery. Shiree's eye for detail and love for the handcrafting process reflects the talented and experienced artist she is.

Shiree draws inspiration from her love of textiles, architecture and nature in all its forms. When she is not creating beautiful jewellery, you will find this self-confessed foodie, whipping up a storm in the kitchen or pottering in her herb garden.

Her exquisite Opal and Diamond encrusted pendant 'Starry Starry Night' (pictured) was a finalist in the 2010 Jewellery Association of Australia Design Awards.
