Nerine Ireland
Senior Jeweller
"I was obsessed with jewellery as a child and had a fascination for all the pieces in my Mum’s jewellery box."
It is hard to believe Nerine has eighteen years experience making jewellery - her fresh face deceives all she meets. However, her wealth of experience is quickly made evident in the precision she displays in her work and her vast knowledge of the ‘unusual, interesting and artistic’ in jewellery.
Systematic and methodical in her approach, you will be hard pressed to find a tool out of place on Nerine’s meticulous work bench. Bold classic pieces and clean lines articulate her style. She is a no-fuss kind-a gal and this is reflected in her work, "I do not like too much clutter on a piece of jewellery as simple pieces are often more striking".
Nerine draws inspiration from nature and all its forms. Much of her work reflects her love of the outdoors, particularly the ocean which brings to her other mad skill – windsurfing. And not just a casual weekend hobby mind you - in her heyday, this talented jeweller competed at a professional level.

When I was younger I wanted to be a vet.
